What is Net Promoter Score?
Net Promoter Score (NPS®) is a customer satisfaction metric used by over two-thirds of the Fortune 1000.
The NPS survey asks a single question—"How likely are you to recommend our product or service to a friend or colleague?"
Customers answer on a scale from 0 to 10, and their answers fall into three categories: Promoters (9-10), Passives (7-8), and Detractors (0-6). Your overall Net Promoter Score is calculated by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters.
